What is Global HVACR Women Week?
Global HVACR Women Week is a worldwide celebration of women across heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pumps. It brings local communities together through participating webinars that share knowledge, celebrate achievements and create new connections.
When is Global HVACR Women Week?
The inaugural Global HVACR Women Week takes place from 25–31 October 2026.
Future dates will change each year to recognise an important woman whose contribution helped shape our profession.
Who can take part?
Everyone.
Whether you’re a student, apprentice, technician, engineer, educator, researcher, business leader or ally, there is a place for you.
Who can organise a webinar?
Any organisation or group with an interest in the HVACR sector.
This includes companies, universities, professional institutions, trade associations, women’s groups, student organisations and community networks.
Does my event have to be entirely online?
No.
Your webinar can be a standalone online event or part of a conference, networking event, workshop, outreach activity or other local gathering.
Do I have to include someone from outside my organisation?
Yes.
Every participating webinar should include at least one participant from outside the organising group. This helps create new connections and brings fresh perspectives to the conversation.
Does my webinar have to be technical?
No.
Technical topics are welcome, but webinars can also focus on careers, education, leadership, innovation, personal journeys or any subject that benefits your community.
Is there a cost to take part?
No.
Participation in Global HVACR Women Week is free.
Can I attend webinars organised by other groups?
Absolutely.
We encourage everyone to explore the global programme and discover conversations taking place around the world.
Can I volunteer?
Yes.
