About Global HVACR Women Week
Global HVACR Women Week is a global community initiative connecting women and their colleagues across heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pumps.
It brings together local communities from around the world to share knowledge, share achievements and create new connections.
Every community is different. Every event is different. What unites them is a shared belief that every community has something worth sharing, and every voice deserves to be heard.
How It Works
Connecting Local Communities
Global HVACR Women Week is not a single conference or one central event.
It is a global programme made up of many local events organised by companies, universities, professional institutions, women’s groups, trade associations and volunteers around the world.
Some events take place in person. Some are entirely online. Many combine both.
Each participating webinar helps connect local communities with the wider global HVACR profession.

A participating webinar can be a standalone online event or form part of a larger local activity. It might be part of:
- a conference
- a technical seminar
- a networking event
- a university lecture
- a school outreach programme
- a workshop
- or another community event
The format is your choice. The connection is what matters.

Three Simple Principles
Every participating webinar should embody three simple principles.
Connect Beyond Your Community
Include at least one participant from outside the organising group, creating a new
connection and a fresh perspective.
Share What You Know
Choose a topic that matters to your community. Technical knowledge, careers, leadership, education, innovation and personal experience all have a place.
Leave Something Behind
Where possible, record all or part of your webinar so that others can continue learning after the event has ended.
Show Up. Speak Up. Lift Up.

Why the Dates Change
Unlike many annual events, Global HVACR Women Week will not always take place on the same dates.
Each year, the week will move to recognise and honour an important woman whose contribution helped shape our profession.
In recognising today’s voices, we also honour yesterday’s pioneers and inspire tomorrow’s leaders.
